This forgotten red brick gardener's house was once part of the magnificent Woodlawn House estate in Co. Galway. It is in a poor state of repair with many rotting floorboards and most of the glass from the windows either missing or lying broken on the floors inside. The fireplaces have been 'removed' but there are still glimpses of daily life, such as coat hooks, peeling wallpaper, staircases, window latches, doors and door knobs and even a toilet downstairs with what looks like the flush chain still in position.

In years gone by this now abandoned house would have been home to a team of people who were responsible for keeping the gardens of Woodlawn well tended. It looks like they moved out long ago.
