This abandoned house is on the famous Ring of Kerry road and I came across it by chance and had to stop to have a quick look inside. The pictures don't really show how long the house is. It looks like there is the house and then two barns to the left of it but all three parts seem to have been lived in at some stage. There is even the remains of an old mattress in one of the upstairs rooms.

The decorative windows and the simple barn to the right of the house (seen in picture 20) add to the overall character of this abandoned dwelling. The last occupants used bright colours on the walls both inside and outside and it would be great to see the house given a new lease of life sooner rather than later.
