Feighcullen Church near the quiet village of Rathangan in Co. Kildare is a beautiful gothic building which is in great condition. Most of the stonework is close to perfect and the roof and windows have been repaired or replaced in the last few years. The tall steeple needs a bit of work and can be seen from miles around.

The church was built in 1829 and designed by the famous architect John Semple. According to Dr. Maurice Craig (a famous architectural historian) Feighcullen Church is the most accomplished and attractive church of its kind. It is listed as being part of Ireland's Architectural Heritage. The graveyard is very well stocked and there are a number of beautiful headstones.
